2016 KITF Storytelling and Solo Performance

COURSE DETAILS

YOUR STORY YOUR VOICE encourages self-expression through standing up and speaking out. This workshop will explore the power of voice through personal storytelling. Obehi will teach a storytelling style that combines memoir, standup comedy, music, movement and public speaking. Classes will include group work as well as one-on-one coaching. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to create a short narrative to use in your solo show, poem or short story, at a slam or open mic, or even something for you to have when words don’t come so easy.
