Elidady is a music teacher and performer from Tanzania. He has been in the field as a musician and performer for the last sixteen years. Mr. Msangi has worked as a Music teacher, Choir Conductor and a Composer in Tanzania. He has worked with Parapanda Theatre Lab Trust (Tanzania) as a Head of music department for two years. In addition, Elidady has worked with Panto Music Production as a Music Director and conducts training in Genesis International Schools on how to
use music and sound effects in storytelling.
A graduate of Stavanger University College (Norway) and Bagamoyo College of Arts (Tanzania), Elidady has extensive International exposure with experience ranging from music, organizing workshops, trainings and theatre festivals. Elidady has participated in international and local performances, which have included Sundance Institute East Africa Lab on Manda Island-‐Kenya, in 2010,Banff in Canada 2011, Utah and New York in United States 2012. 100 Performances in 7 Regions, About Human Traffic in Tanzania in 2009; he worked as a music director for theatre art on a collaboration between Parapanda Theatre Lab and Goethe Institute in Tanzania and has performed at the Sauti za Busara Festival in Zanzibar and Zanzibar International Film Festival.
Outside of Tanzania, Elidady has performed in 60 Performances in Rogaland, Norway under the support of Norwegian Concert Institute (NCI), and Music May Jazz, Stavanger, Norway. Mr. Msangi holds a Diploma in Music, he has IT skills in music Engineering and is skilled in using available features in a certain environment as a scenery for the music drama performances.
For the past two years (2012-‐2013) Elidady has been a vocal trainer for singing competition known as Bongo Star Search and gave lessons in Bagamoyo College of Arts (TASUBA) this was just for short course students.
