Christian Müller, born in 1979, studied theatre science and has been working as a freelance
director in the independent scene and in municipal theatres since 2011. He has been independently
realising projects in the independent theatre scene for more than twenty years. In Stuttgart, he co-
founded the Citizen.KANE.Kollektiv as a free group, built it up and, above all, shaped it through
his directing work. Christian believes that theatres should be places of encounter that change society
and are thus spaces of opportunity to try out new ideas and develop them further.
