Synopsis:
“The snake around baba’s waist” is an emotionally charged play that takes us into the life of Nairuba,a young woman who has suffered childhood traumas at the hands of her cruel stepmother, As an adult, Nairuba is haunted by her traumatic past, but she is determined to confront her demons and find healing.
The play unfolds the pages of the past and the present. In her past life, she’s under the influence of the wrath of her step mother. The harder she (stepmother) coils around her father, the more life became harder for Nairuba. This darkens Nairuba’s world.
