Graduate in Dramatic Arts from University of Witswatersand, Johannesburg. Since the beginning of his career, Nick has been working on varied genres.

Fluent in Zulu and Sotho, Nick specialized in the study of the Zulu language, studying its slang and modern components: winning the title “Young Linguist of the Year” in 2011. He is currently a researcher in multilingual education in the University of Johannesburg.

As a “clown”, Nick has performed his own works for many years across the country.

In 2008, he acted in Kuguga Mélancolique system 10 of the French director Jean-Paul Delore, taking part in this international exchange (Africa, France, Mozambique).

In 2008/2009, he wrote, directed and acted with Wesley Makgamatha Afrika in Mama Yo! , a comic satire. He also acted in 2008 in the Grahamstown National Arts Festival in Sky’s the limit by Helen Iskander, Why we left by Megan Godsell, and he co-wrote and starred in The Jellyfish Who Wanted to Be a Bird purpose Did not Really Know What A Bird Was, the official student production of Wits University. In 2007, he acted Bottom in The Dream of a summer night at the National Arts Festival

Under the stage name Gwasa Juse he produces and plays with the hip-hop group Soweto Third Wave, which has three records to its credit.
